The Connecticut River Watershed Council and the Deerfield River Watershed Association invite you to the 18th Annual (Wow!) Source to Sea Cleanup and the 10th Annual Green River Cleanup, to be held on  September 27th, 2014 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Green River Recreation Area on Nash’s Mill Rd. in Greenfield.

This great community event brings together river lovers from all walks of life, with the common goal of respecting rivers and waters.  There will be breakfast treats, coffee and beverages in the morning, followed by lunch provided by area sponsors and restaurants.  Music will be provided by the Equalites.

Please wear long pants and boots, bring rakes, shovels, brooms, wader boots, tools for picking up trash, trucks, rigging, and your happy selves.  Come have a great day cleaning up your watershed!

35% of Greenfield’s water supply comes from the Green River!

Contact the Connecticut River Watershed Council at 413-772-2020 to sign up for the Green River Cleanup or any of the other 100 sites during the 18th Annual Source To Sea Cleanup.  Be part of a 400 hundred mile, 4 states effort to respect and improve our watersheds.
